Warranty & Maintenance Policy

The distinction between manufacturer cover, installation obligations, and an annual maintenance contract.

Last reviewed

Three different kinds of support

  • Manufacturer warranty: the written terms for the supplied equipment, including model-specific duration, components, registration, and service conditions.
  • Installation or workmanship obligations: the cover expressly agreed for Arihant’s work, together with any applicable legal remedies.
  • Maintenance agreement: a separate scope setting out planned visits, breakdown attendance, included consumables/spares, exclusions, duration, and charges. An AMC is not automatically included in an equipment purchase.

Confirm the actual cover

Keep the invoice, equipment model/serial number, warranty document, commissioning record, and service history. Ask for the precise warranty period, start date, parts/labour coverage, attendance/transport charges, and claim route before acceptance. The website does not create a single warranty duration or an unlimited replacement promise across all brands.

Exclusions must come from the applicable written terms and law, not an assumed universal list. Wear, misuse, external electrical problems, unauthorised alterations, or missed maintenance may require assessment; they do not automatically defeat every claim.

Reporting a fault

Contact the team with the invoice/reference, model and serial number, location, fault description, and photographs or error code if safely obtainable. Ask whether inspection or work outside cover is chargeable before it proceeds. Do not dismantle electrical or refrigerant components yourself.

A manufacturer warranty does not remove Arihant’s responsibility for its own agreed work or non-excludable consumer remedies. The appropriate remedy depends on diagnosis, cover, and applicable law.

Maintenance and urgent situations

The maintenance schedule should follow equipment instructions, operating conditions, and the agreed contract. A promised response time or emergency attendance exists only where expressly agreed; sending a website message does not book an emergency visit.

For smoke, fire, a serious electrical hazard, or suspected hazardous leakage, keep people clear and seek appropriate emergency help. Isolate equipment only if safe and within your competence. Resume use only after qualified assessment.
